Low level walks include;

to the north of the island, the Storr and the Quiraing,

from the south walks can be made from Sligachan or Glen Brittle.

Coastal walks are another option,

or choose a high level walk over the Red Cuillin.

One memorable day out without having to venture high onto the ridges is to walk 10 km from Coruisk memorial hut to the Sligachan hotel. Start the day with a drive to Elgol, passing Blaven/Clach Glas, the Matterhorn of Skye. Arrive at the quay to board the boat to Coruisk. On the trip across you may see seals and perhaps even a whale. Cross the "Stepping Stones" at the Mad burn. Enjoy the views of the Cuillin ridge and the Dubhs Slabs.
